Dialogue between Tyumen and Finnish entrepreneurs. First results

On November 11, an online dialogue of Tyumen and Finnish enterprises took place in the sections: "Technologies and equipment for the oil and gas industry", "Construction", "Waste management", "Logging and timber processing" - continuation of the online meeting of the Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region Andrey Panteleev and the Emergency and the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Finland to the Russian Federation Antti Helantera.
The Tyumen and Finnish sides note a high interest in cooperation and active work of all four sections.
The timber industry potential of the region was presented by Leonid Ostroumov, Director of the Timber Department of the Tyumen Region.
Finnish companies highly appreciated the products of the Tyumen branch of SVEZA-Les LLC. Export Maker, which has extensive experience in export-import operations, proposed to create a distribution network in order to promote the plant's products in Finland and other EU countries in connection with the demand in the European market.
Guided by the experience of promoting the export of oil and gas engineering products, the Export Maker consulting company is ready to assist HMS Neftemash JSC in a trial delivery to Norway. In the future, it was proposed to jointly develop the Middle East market, in particular, the United Arab Emirates.
The sphere of construction and production of building materials was presented by Vladimir Kolunin, Deputy General Director of Holding Partner LLC, familiarizing the audience with new projects of low-rise and individual construction for residents of the cities of Tyumen, Tobolsk, Yekaterinburg-zones of the company. He proposed to organize an individual meeting in an online format with Finnish construction companies in order to exchange experience in the design, construction and arrangement of the territory of individual housing construction. In addition, Finnish companies are interested in the products and sales markets of the Porevit and Vybor KSM factories.
Svetlana Petrenko, First Deputy General Director of OOO TEO, Director of the Tyumen Directorate of the Regional Operator, took part in the section “Waste Management” in the dialogue about the prospects for waste recycling in the region.
Summing up the results of the work of the sections, the director of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce in Russia Jukka Huuhtanen focused the participants' attention on the lively and organic communication of the parties even in the online format and figuratively wished everyone in the future to constantly “feel the living breath of the cutting area of our joint work”.
