Finland's business mission to the Tyumen region has successfully started

On October 29, Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region Andrei Panteleev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to the Russian Federation Antti Helantery held an online meeting of Tyumen and Finnish entrepreneurs.
The event took place thanks to the initiative and assistance of the Government of the Tyumen Region, the Embassy of Finland in Russia and the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce.
Andrey Panteleev presented the investment and industrial potential of the region, spoke about the oil and gas cluster being created in the Tyumen region and the prospects for cooperation in industry, investment, tourism and education. Finnish entrepreneurs were given comprehensive financial and administrative support measures, regional tax incentives.
Finnish Ambassador to Russia Antti Helanterya noted that Finnish business highly appreciates the financial and administrative support provided by the Government of the Tyumen Region. Confirmation of this is the investments and activities of the Finnish energy company Fortum in the cities of Tyumen and Tobolsk in the Tyumen region. The ambassador stressed that Finnish enterprises had and remain interested in working on the Russian market and in the Tyumen region.
On the first day of the business mission, on October 29, nearly 70 representatives of Finnish companies took part in such industries as mechanical engineering, pulp and paper industry, environmental safety, waste collection and processing, green energy, information technology, construction, and consulting. The Regional Export Support Center of the Tyumen Region presented the region's export potential to the Finnish partners. During the presentation, it was noted that along with the products of the chemical giant LLC SIBUR Tobolsk, LLC ZapSibNeftekhim, such small and medium-sized businesses as LLC Tyumen aerosols (aerosol products), LLC Zavodoukovsky have good chances for export to Finland. creamery "(rapeseed oil), LLC" Alfa Drive "(production of sports equipment for driving on snow), IE Muratov V.K. (food for fish and crustaceans) and others.
The dialogue with Finnish companies will continue online on November 11, 2020 within the framework of the sections: technologies and equipment for the oil and gas industry, logging and timber processing, waste management, construction.
