Tour operators of Tyumen and North Kazakhstan regions discussed prospects for cooperation

On July 22, a working meeting was held on the development of the tourism industry in the Tyumen and North Kazakhstan regions in the format of video conferencing.

The tourist potential of the region was presented by Maria Trofimova, head of the Agency for Tourism and Promotion of the Tyumen Region. She emphasized that the North Kazakhstan region, like the Republic of Kazakhstan as a whole, is one of the points of attraction for tourists from the Tyumen region among the countries and regions of the CIS.

Enterprises of the region's tourism industry are working on organizing bus tours to the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in turn, the Kazakh side is in demand for mineral waters and therapeutic mud of such sanatorium-resort complexes as "Siberia", "Taraskul", "Sosnovy Bor" and "Svetly "(Yalutorovsky district) and others.

Tour operators of the region presented the business card of the region - thermal resorts, as well as the main tourist routes. Within the framework of package tours ("To Siberia at will", "Black gold of Siberia", etc.), guests are ready to show the two most important cities of Siberia - Tyumen and Tobolsk. Tyumen is the first Russian city in Siberia. Today it is one of the most comfortable and prosperous cities in Russia. Tobolsk is the historical center of control over Siberia, which once even had its own currency and was considered the third capital of Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Kanat Shamsutdinov, head of the tourism development and licensing department of the KSU "Management of entrepreneurship and industrial-innovative development of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region" presented the tourism potential of the Imantau-Shalkar resort zone.

Within the framework of the meeting, Vladimir Vitchenko, chairman of the tourism association for the North Kazakhstan region, proposed a project for the implementation of a transboundary route through the North Kazakhstan and Tyumen regions. The project program includes visits to Petropavlovsk and Tyumen.

At the meeting, communication was established between the tour operator communities of the two regions for further elaboration of the issue of project implementation.
