Tyumen products are exported by container trains

On March 26, another container train with products of Tyumen producers went on the route Voinovka - Avtovo October Railway (serves the port of St. Petersburg). From there, ships deliver cargo to anywhere in the world.
In 2019, the number of countries purchasing products of the Tyumen region increased by 12%. If in 2018 the main export deliveries were carried out in 90 countries of the world, then in 2019 - already in 102.
Accelerated container trains are a service of the Sverdlovsk Directorate for Terminal and Warehouse Complex Management (a branch of Russian Railways), which was one of the first to be evaluated by the SVEZA holding company - Tyumen Plywood Plant LLC. The distance of 2434 kilometers from Voinovka to Avtovo the train overcomes in three days. The first such train departed on June 20, 2019. This year, the number of container trains with products from the Tyumen Plywood Plant doubled.
Given the business interest in reliability, safety, speed of delivery of goods, the issue of increasing the number of accelerated container trains is being considered. The Tyumen region of the Sverdzhan Railway and the Department of Investment Policy and State Support of Entrepreneurship of the Tyumen Region are discussing the formation of container trains from the Voinovka station to the Nakhodka (exp.) Station of the Far Eastern Railway.
According to Governor Alexander Moor, many Tyumen enterprises are ready to enter foreign markets. “An increase in their number indicates an increase in the competitiveness of the Tyumen business. The regional government continues to comprehensively support everyone who is already engaged in export or plans to master this area, ”the head of the region emphasized.
