First Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan visited the Tyumen region

As part of TNF-2021, the Tyumen Region was visited by the First Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurebekov and representatives of the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the delegation of Kazakhstan took part in the events of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum, held negotiations with Tyumen companies, got acquainted with the cultural and tourist potential of the regional capital.
“The Republic of Kazakhstan is our long-standing and reliable foreign economic partner. About 20 thousand Kazakhs live on the Tyumen land. The regional Kazakh national-cultural autonomy is actively operating, which, using the methods of public diplomacy, actively contributes to the development of mutually beneficial economic and humanitarian ties. Our fellow Kazakhs make a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the region, actively participate in public life, ”said the Governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor at a meeting with the delegation of Kazakhstan.
Alexander Moor and Murat Zhurebekov discussed promising directions for the development of cooperation between the Tyumen region and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of oil and gas services. The Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed interest in creating service centers in Kazakhstan for Tyumen enterprises producing equipment for the oil and gas industry.
The establishment of cooperation ties will be facilitated by a cooperation agreement between the Tyumen Association "Oil and Gas Cluster" and the Union of Oil Service Companies of Kazakhstan, signed on the sidelines of the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Presidium of the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan Rashid Zhaksylykov and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Tyumen Vladislav Kvasov.
