The delegation of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the Tyumen Oil and Gas Forum. French companies highly appreciated the level of organization of TNF-2021, its rich business and cultural program.

On September 14, Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor met with the delegation.

Opening the meeting, the governor noted that for many years France has been one of the main foreign trade partners of the Tyumen region, many French companies are represented in the region, but there are prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation. Historically, the oil and gas industry is the base one for our region. However, investments in other sectors of the regional economy are also very important for us, stressed Alexander Moor.

The meeting was attended by representatives of French companies working in such areas as the production of waterproofing materials, green energy, electrical engineering, construction of energy facilities, oil and gas services, the chemical industry, and public catering.

Pavel Shinsky, director of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that French companies have been working in Russia for a long time and are interested in implementing new investment projects, including localizing their production facilities in the Tyumen Region.

Let us recall that this is not the first visit of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Tyumen region. In October, French companies are planning to visit our region again and discuss possible joint projects in the agricultural sector.
