Cooperation compass points to Germany
On February 4, in the Moscow office of the Representative Office of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, a working meeting was held between the Director of the Department for Investment Policy and State Support of Entrepreneurship of the Tyumen Region Anton Mashukov and the Head of the Representative Office of the Federal State of Lower Saxony in Russia Anna Urumyan.
During the meeting, Anton Mashukov presented the program of investment development of the Tyumen region, discussed the possibility of holding online meetings of Tyumen and Lower Saxon entrepreneurs in the fields of oil and gas engineering, ecology, agro-industrial and food processing industries.
The parties confirmed their interest in the implementation of a training project in the field of waste recycling and participation in the educational event of entrepreneurs and representatives of the executive authorities of the Tyumen region.
Anna Urumyan discussed with Anton Mashukov the preliminary points of the program of the visit of the delegation headed by the Governor of the Tyumen Region Alexander Moor to Lower Saxony on November 1-3, 2021. The visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Stefan Weil is planned by the partners in the framework of long-term cooperation and is timed to the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Federal State of Lower Saxony,
Expanding contacts with business circles in Germany, Anton Mashukov met on February 5 with Tim Knoll , Executive Director of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce (Moscow), and Sergei Bykov, Director for Regional Affairs.
Representatives of the leadership of the chamber supported the initiative of holding joint meetings of German entrepreneurs - members of the Chamber with Tyumen leaders - industry specialists in mechanical engineering, petrochemicals, innovations, IT technologies, agro-industrial and food processing industries.
The plans of the Tyumen Region and the Chamber are to hold a meeting "Dialogue of the Governor of the Tyumen Region with German enterprises" in Moscow with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Russia Geza Andreas von Geir.
