The Tyumen region legislated to create comfortable conditions for the development of IT companies

Tyumen companies working in the field of information technology received new tax preferences. On Thursday, June 22, during the meeting of the regional Duma deputies supported by a majority of votes the bill submitted to the regional government for consideration. According to the document, the income tax rate for IT companies is set at 14 percent.
"To create an effective digital economy in the Tyumen region, care should be taken to create conditions for professionals who are working to achieve this global goal. We are ready to create a special comfortable environment for the active work of talented, competent, bright-minded people. In addition, leading IT companies around the world are in great need of cheap office leases. We understand this and also strive to provide them with these conditions, "explained Governor Vladimir Yakushev.
The head of the region stressed that a significant step for the development of small and micro business in the Tyumen region was the addition of new activities under the simplified taxation system, in which the rate is zero. Now there are 48 of them in the region. "We took these decisions after discussion with the business community," the governor concluded.
