Forum November 18, 2019 in Moscow - a bridge between Russia and Germany
On November 18, 2019, a Forum was held in Moscow in the format of a dialogue with the participation of a German politician, chairman of the Atlantic Bridge Sigmar Gabriel. The event was organized by the German-Russian Forum (Berlin) and the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce (Moscow).
The event was attended by over 250 guests - representatives of business and international organizations in Germany, executive bodies of state power of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, members of the youth wing of the German-Russian Forum.
Sigmar Gabriel in his speech he touched on the topic of the global power structure, the formation and structuring of the bipolar world, the competitive struggle of the United States of America with the People's Republic of China, the role of European countries against the background of an escalating struggle between nuclear powers. The main idea of Z. Gabriel is the special importance in a positive attitude towards cooperation and the need to maintain ties in all areas - economic, social, scientific, educational, cultural between Russia and Germany, as well as the responsibility of partners for continued cooperation in the future. The speaker emphasized that he did not exclude in the future the implementation of any trilateral project between Russia, Germany and the United States.
The Forum was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region, the head of the Representative Office of the Government of the Tyumen region in the state authorities of the Russian Federation, Eduard Bakiev.
The main purpose of participation of the Tyumen region in the Forum is to expand contacts with the leadership of German enterprises - potential investors and international organizations.
